Having played the closed technical alpha I have to say it has the potential to be a cracking game. I loved the co-op, though even the AI needs a little work, and I would love to rent a game server for TRG should this option be available. Keep an eye on the forums closer to launch as this could be a cornerstone game for our community!

According to a recent blog postBattlefield V‘s open beta will launch in early September, following the debut of a new build at Gamescom 2018 from August 21st to August 25th. The open beta version of the game will probably closely resemble the Gamescom build, as was the case with Battlefield 1, including which of the game’s recently leaked maps we can expect to play on

Following EA PLAY, the Closed Alpha will give selected players a hands-on experience of Battlefield V and, together with several other tests, it will be a way for us to stress-test servers and improve several aspects of the game, thanks to the participation and feedback from those taking part. Invitations with codes for the Closed Alpha will soon be sent to a small group of Battlefield players. These codes can be redeemed in the Origin client. The closed alpha will open on the 28th June @ 9am BST.

The new Battlefield V offering from EA/DICE will be released on the 19th Oct 2018 with Origin subscribers recieving early access on the 11th Oct. If you bought a delux version of the game then you will be able to play on the 16th Oct. Rumours circulating expect the Beta to land in either late August or Early September.

It was announced this week that the new under development World War 3 game will launch a beta in September. We will bring you more news as soon as it drops.
