So with the game now in early access and the connectivity issues pretty much fixed where do you stand? For me it has a lot of potential but its about 2 or 3 big patches away from being a game I would play frequently. What's your view? Head over the WW3 forum and let us know. WW3 Forum

You’ve seen the Battlefield™ V multiplayer trailer, perhaps played the Closed Alpha, or maybe watched your favorite streamer get hands-on with the all-new multiplayer experiences, like the multi-map Grand Operations. But now it’s time for the Battlefield V Open Beta*, arriving this September. Here’s a quick summary at what’s included and how you can be an early part of a never-before-seen portrayal of World War 2. Keep close tabs on the Battlefield News page this week for a more detailed rundown of all that’s contained in the Battlefield V Open Beta. The Beta opens to the public on September 6 and runs for a limited time. So, tell your friends to wake you up when September begins. Pre-load load starts on September 3, at 8:00 UTC. If you subscribe to either EA Access, Origin Access, Origin Access Premier, or pre-order** a copy of Battlefield V today on PC, Xbox One, or PlayStation 4, you’ll get early access to the Open Beta starting September 4.

The next installment of Insurgency Sandstorm will be a beta availble for people who have pre-ordered on the 9th Aug. The beta will include 4 modes in Push, Firefight, checkpoint and Skirmish along with 3 maps and will close on the 13th August. According to the press release another beta will dop on the 30th August before the game is launched in September.

Having played the closed technical alpha I have to say it has the potential to be a cracking game. I loved the co-op, though even the AI needs a little work, and I would love to rent a game server for TRG should this option be available. Keep an eye on the forums closer to launch as this could be a cornerstone game for our community!

According to a recent blog postBattlefield V‘s open beta will launch in early September, following the debut of a new build at Gamescom 2018 from August 21st to August 25th. The open beta version of the game will probably closely resemble the Gamescom build, as was the case with Battlefield 1, including which of the game’s recently leaked maps we can expect to play on
